Swedish Hit Radio Sets Listener Record in August

Posted 27/8/2015

Swedish Hit Radio LogoSwedish Hit Radio Logo600 is the magic number that makes us jumping for joy: In August, Swedish Hit Radio had more than 600 listening hours per day for the very first time (30-days-average). That means, given that every listener stays tuned in for one hour per day, our station reaches out to more than 600 people. Every day! Worldwide! The record for one day was set already on August 3rd when 905 listening hours were counted. We are now eagerly waiting to make it into the 4-digit-sphere.

Most of our listeners live in Sweden which doesn't come as a surprise considering our name and the music we are playing. Half of all listening hours (50%) are generated there. The second biggest market is Germany (19%), followed by Japan (5%) which only recently pushed the USA (4%) from 3rd place. The Top 10 is completed by China, Czech Republic, Finland, Norway, the United Kingdom, and Canada (1%).

Also in August, Swedish Hit Radio reached more than 600 followers on the world's largest radio aggregator TuneIn. Right now there are exactly 615 followers - and counting. Only on Facebook we still need to go a bit more to reach the magic 600. However, we are grateful for every one of you outhere who supports us by listening and/or following. And we have much more things planned. So stay tuned!
